Sun Ra performs with a core group from the Arkestra. John Gilmore provides a memorable tenor saxophone solo and there is a rousing finale with a classic Ra composition: "Space Is The Place".

This program was videotaped in live performance. The audience and musicians were able to see the video monitors as the video was made. Video producer, Carol Goss; audio producer, Paul Bley; video mixing and colorizing, Walter Wright; audio engineer, David Baker.

This performance was recorded at Axis-In-Soho, New York City, on May 20, 1977.
